The Flu Season is here!

Dear Parents:

We have 11 students in attendance in our sweet little class today! Four were absent and three more were sent home with fevers of 101+. Please do not send your child to school if they are running a fever, even if you have given them a fever reducer it is only good for 6 hours. We have talked about not touching anything that doesn't belong specifically to them. We have sprayed Lysol, cleaned table tops and chairs with Clorox wipes and we are still sick! I've encouraged the students not to hug others right now because so many of the students are sick. I know we can't escape it but we can be considerate of others and keep ours home until they are well. I hope all of you that are sick feel better soon and those that have not gotten sick I hope you stay well!! Have a good week!

Also, the students are not in school this Friday, February 15, 2008. This is a staff development day for the teachers. Our weather day on Monday, February 18, 2008, is now a school day. We have to make up the day we used for possible tornadoes last week on Feb. 18. Boo-hoo!

Talk to y'all soon!
